All events of the OECC’s Vancouver Coast Branch have been cancelled since March 2020. Pending Provincial health regulations, the August Stewart Historical Farm Annual Picnic is still on.

On Saturday, July 20, 2015, several of my Classic British car friends joined me and my wife on a tour of the Mission, B.C. community of Silverdale. There were 16 cars and 29 people. The tour distance was about 36 miles with a driving time of about 80 minutes. We had a really good time and ended the run at the Mission Springs Brewing Company Pub & Restautant.
Regardless of all the planning, there was one hiccup and that was a tree fallen across and blocking a road on our route. I didn’t have a Plan B, however, I did have a map of the area so once we all turned around, I was able to lead us out without getting us lost.
